How to add background music to photo slideshow.

There are two different ways to synchronize background music with photo slideshow. One is to adjust background music duration to match photo slideshow. The other is to adjust photo slideshow duration to match music duration.

Reduce or trim music to match photo slideshow.

With regards to the first method, if you want to lengthen the music duration, you can add more music, otherwise you can reduce the number of the added music or trim the background musics to shorten the music duration.

Modify photo slideshow duration to fit music.

If you want to adjust slideshow duration to match music in the simplest way, you can click "Organize Photos->Transition & Music", in the central right part of this window, you can click the first button on the left "Audio duration" to sync slideshow with music.

Apart that this method, you are also able to double-click the slideshow thumbnais and transition icon to customize photo slidehsow duration. But this method is a little complex, because it requires a little calculation about the duration and timeline. You can click "Organize Photos->Transition & Music" to add music to the slideshow project. Once you added music to the project, you can see a light blue music bar at the bottom of the window which shows the music begins and ends at which photo. Through this visual operation interface, you can preciously modify photo slideshow duration (see the below picture).
